Mancat Monday - aka The Mancat Called Uncle! ;)

My wonderful half-sister Isis and her kittens just 1-2 hrs after they were born on Sunday in the wee small hours! So mostly this Mancat has been kitten gazing and admiring his amazing sister's new mothering skills... It's a very mancat kind of thing to do and even Tigmut'hep is finding himself attracted to spending time kitten gazing! ;) So much for him being a big old grump... :)

Thoughts of Love on Thursday...

Well since I'z been missing My Marie blogging 'cause her Mom's got lotsa work to do, I decided to make a new Marie Picture for my blog sidebar... One that not only shows off her gorgeous eyes, but looks nice with the colours I picked for my page too! :) I so hope she likes the results...

Heavy - Photo Hunt!

Well what Mancat with a pregnant sister can resist posting the following for the Saturday Photo Hunt - Heavy?! This is my half-sister Isis looking far more heavy than usual in her 6th week of pregnancy...

Old Fashioned - Photo Hunt

Well you don't get much more Old Fashioned than My Mummy's Family Coat of Arms. It was granted to one of her very early relatives by King James - with was many squillion years ago!

The fishy on the top is actually supposed to be a dolphin over water - this is because the family didn't originate in England, but came here from Italy in the late 1500's. With a name like Caesar I'm told it's pretty easy to trace the family back to the first member to come to this Country - he was a physician and the father of the man awarded this coat of arms. Being a physician also makes him an easy person to trace as there has been a roll recording the names of physicians in this country going back even further than the late 1500's.

This coat of arms hangs over the fireplace at My Mummy's Grandma's house in the New Forest, along with a lot of other very old fashioned but interesting prints of a famous cricket player who was also a family member. He played on the second English Cricket tour of Australia - and they won! :)

New Meme!

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

1. I'z would find a way of getting My Marie to come over here for a snuggle more often! Maybe I'z could get one of those Star Trek transporter badges for her collar, so I'z could beam her over when ever I'z got the urge to snuggle! :) Or Maybe I'z could get her cloned and leave d'clone with her Mommy... ;)

2. I'z would get my paws on lots of green papers and buy My Mummy a bigger house and get a bigger bed for her and Dad! I'z need more room to snuggle with My Mummy you'z see and I'd also learn how to play with d'alarm clock so I'z could have longer bed snuggles too! :) Iffen I'z just gotted her a bigger bed there wouldn't be any room left to move in their current bedroom...

3. I'z would start up a major farm business growing d'nip and raising chickens. Then I'z would make dem into chicken 'n 'nip kittyfood with lotsa yummy gravy... All d' leftover feathers could be used to make feather wand toys, maybe I'z could get a top scientist to make d'feathers naturally 'nip scented too... :)

Wonderful Wednesday with Isis!

Hello Everykitty, Isis here for my Wednesday blog time! :)

I hope you all like my latest close-up (especially you Napoleon, and remember no drooling on the keyboard!) I do so love posing for Mummy and as soon as she points the camera at he I start to purr... Well they do say a good model as to love the camera! ;) Maybe I don't have all the fashion sense of Daisy the Curly Cat, but I can do cute all the same! :)

Mummy says I'm growing into a nice young girlycat and I must say I'm kind of excited as I'll turn double figures at the end of the month - yes 10 months old already! It's dreadfully grown up 'n all... :) Maybe I'll start my Birthday Wish List soon? I mean it'll take me quite a while to think of all the prezzies I'd like for my very first Birthday! :) Though a proper kitty kiss from a nice young ManCat (who's not my own brother - ick!) would have to be top of my list for now... ! ;)

I think I'd like a nice new blankey too, one for my beautiful luxury carrier with the big furry mattress in... It's so much better than that horrid PTU! I mean a girlycat need a little luxury in her life, but a lot will do nicely too! ;)

Oh and I think I'd like a big bag of pretty coloured feathers, as I just love feathers! Not to forget some new mices as I can't find any of the cute little ones to play with here... I think that big old black grump, Tigmut'hep, has run off with them or shoved them under the sofa... :( I do so love my little mices! :)

Now I nearly forgot, when I'm 1 yr old I'll be old enough to try some catnip! ;) Ramses says not to bother with the low quality stuff, but go straight for the really good stuff as it's worth it! Ramses seems to know rather a lot about d'nip it seems, even though Tigmut'hep is the one round here who's a total 'niphead! ;) Mummy says I must be like my brother and use d'nip only occasionally and in social situations, rather than hogging the lot as often as possible and being all antisocial like Tigs... She says there's such a thing as responsible 'nip use - all these things to learn about being a grown up girlycat are so exhausting, I think I feel a nap coming on...

Warning New Camera!

Dear goodness, what am I to do?! It seems Dad's gone and messed with my life and bought Mummy a nice new camera for her Birthday (and that's not even here for another few weeks, I know 'cause I'm saving up some really good fur to shed on her that day!). The fool has not only bought it for her early, but also let her have it already! I mean life was bad enough with the old camera getting pointed in my face, but now there's another one... :s So I've been showing Mummy my disapproval by hiding my head when she gets the new camera out! ;)

The trouble is Isis is letting the side down by posing for Mummy! She's been finding all sorts of cute new ways to pose for the camera and is even starting to act like some sort of supermodel diva! :( Then again all this time posing for the camera does mean it's time she's not spending with her tongue down one of my ears cleaning it out! ;)
