Fr"eye"day

Honestly, what is it with this time of year and my eyes? Yep, I've gone and got myself an eye infection once more... :( It's not a bad one like last year at least and Mummy says I only need to have the drops in for a few more days now as it's clearing up, but it's just not fair! So ok maybe I don't wash my paws as much as I should before rubbing my eyes, but I don't deserve a week of drops in the eye or worse yet a ride in the PTU and a visit to the VET! Oh no not me, I'm a good boy...

Well at least Mummy'd arranged for it to be a Lady Vet, and one who appreciated my good looks and superior character. In fact the only thing wrong with her, was the fact that she hasn't learnt to talk Abyssinian, so she couldn't understand me when I told her to get her great big pink paws off of my gorgeous sorrel furs! But she did make the examination quick and of course My Mummy was by my side the whole time, so it's a trauma I will get over in time... well ok will enough treats applied! ;) Anyway Sue the receptionist is well on her way to understanding quite a bit of Abyssinian and fully understood me when I told Mummy that she could think again if she thought I'd co-operate when it came to drop application time. Nope I wasn't going to give in to her bribary, not no way... So other than my itchy eye and the nasty drops, I've been doing rather well this week with 24/7 access to the bed and lots of yummy treats, including some ducky jerky for kitties! :)

Oh well off to claim some more treats as I gather I'm needed for another round of torture and the application of a medicated drop to my right eye... Then I think I'll have a nap in the bed with my 'sis before lunch!

Just remember Mummy I'm not going back to the Lady Vet or any Vet for that matter, even if the Lady Vet comes from High River, AB and knows a lot of the places you used to live in!

Finking Friday...

Well firstly I fink I'd better let you all know where you can see video of Isis belly moving as so many of you have shown an interest in it! Other than that I fink I'd better keep a really good eye out for that Stork as it's getting closer all the time! ;) Maybe a nap first might help prepare me for being an Uncle though and I don't want to be all tired and sleepy, so just forty winks on My Mummy's bed and then back on duty! :)

Mancat Monday Meme...

Well I'z been tagged by two lovely grey kitties called Gandolf and Grayson, but it's for a meme I'z already done just the other day... But since they'z also tagged my sister Isis and she's not done it as yet I'z just going to give her a helping paw with her go at this meme that was created by d'cats at http://www.petspics.blogspot.com/.

I'z hadded a great weekend with lots of snuggles, including some from that grump I'z live with, Tigmut'hep - it seems he'z loves d'kitty bed so much that he's willing to snuggle with me of an evening to get some kitty bed time! ;) Maybe he's not quite such a big grump as I'z thought?! Naaa... It's just that d'kitty bed is so soft and warm that it's tempting lure is too much for even Mr. Grumpypus! ;)

Now I'z fink it's time for a nice mancatly nap... :)

We'z all deeply saddened by d'passing of our friend Caesar... I'z finked he was a wonderful mancat, with great dignity and lotsa class. I'z just hope that I'z can one day be as dignified and mancatly as he was in everything he did... He will no doubt be greatly missed by his sister Prinnie as well as his loving family and I'z would appreciate all you kitties dropping by and letting them know that you'z finking of them at this time... Though we'z cannot make his passing any easier for them, we'z can at least let them know he was widely loved and respected here... My purrs are going out to Prinnie as I'z know all too well what the love of a sibling is like, even if Isis is only my half-sister!
