Terrific Tuesday - Happy Birthday Merlin!

Oh yes today is utterly terrific as our buddy Merlin turns 1 yr old today and finally becomes a Mancat! :) To celebrate this momentous occasion we're having a bit of a party here in the run - so as not to make a mess of My Mummy's newly decorated dinning room and kitchen! ;) There is loads of fresh 'nip and piles of yummy food for all and because it was raining earlier there's even a frog serenade going on to mark the occasion! :) Oh yes nothing is too good for our buddy Merlin or his bother Dragonheart...

We are however keeping plenty of soft food on hand as our friend Baby Mao has hurt his jaw and chipped a big tooth and seems to have lost a little one! :( While there will be a large bucket of KFC to keep HRH Yao-lin going before My Mummy manages to cook us all some juicy turkey! :) You can all test our yummy Reindeer Paté too, it's just the best! :)

Thoughts of Love on Thursday...

Well since I'z been missing My Marie blogging 'cause her Mom's got lotsa work to do, I decided to make a new Marie Picture for my blog sidebar... One that not only shows off her gorgeous eyes, but looks nice with the colours I picked for my page too! :) I so hope she likes the results...

Belated Finking...

Well this week I'z did so much finking on Friday that I forgotted to blog about it... Well I'z had been reading My Mummy's kitty pregnancy book with her and so was doing some really hard finking about becoming an Uncle! :)

I'z been readin' all about what sort of food Isis should eat to help her percolate good healthy kittens. It seems a queen needs about 400 calories a day, or about twice as much as a normal kitty her size! Iffen you'z fink that's impressive she'll be demanding close to 1,000 calories a day once d'kittens are born and she's lactating... Dat's more like the sort of level of nutrition that d'boy requires and he eats loads! My Mummy weighed Isis dis morning to see iffen she'd put back on d'weight she lost while at Stud and it seems that she has even though she was very moody about her dinners all last week... Though for d'past 2 days she's been eating like a big piggy Tigmut'hep! ;) Heck dis morning she almost climbed My Mummy askin for her breakfast - before dat she's tried to make breakfast outta My Mummy's toes by putting d'bitey on them... So Isis is back to 3.2Kg and iffen she's got a belly full of kittens they'd be about the size of ickle peas at dis moment. By the time she's due to "pink up" (about 15-18 days time) they'd be about the size of hazlenuts! :) So you'z can see I'z had lots to fink about... Oh and d'books gotted lovely pictures of kitten development and all that, I'z lick d'pictures best of all, they'z easier to understand than all d'writing! ;)

Only 12 Days 'till Kissmouse!

Ok, so we'z all getting a little excited round here... But we'z also a little concerned as finally we'z broked into the cupboard where My Mummy's not been letting us go for squillions of weeks while My Mummy was wrapping some presents for other bean relatives, the thing is we'z founded nuffin that looked or smelt like a proper Kissmouse presents! :S Not a single wiff of d'nip, not a feather or a bit of fluff in sight... Nope we'z gotted nuffin! :(

I'z sure we'z all been good and know we'z very deservin'... To be honest I'z probably deserve more than the others, but being a good and kind hearted type of Mancat I'z willin' to share! The trouble is it looks like I'z going to be sharin' nuffin! :( I'z couldn't even see or sniff out any special food in d'cupboard... It's looking critical here!

We'z not gotted the Kissmouse tree up yet, I'z can't find any sign of purresents or special yummy cat food... Nope not a single thing! :( Has My Mummy gone all senile and forgotted us and Kissmouse? Surely she can't have 'cause she's done my Kissmouse photo and made me look all purrty in a nice Mancatly kind of way... You'z don't fink she's gone and hidded the presents in some new spot just to foil out plans do you?! Surely My Mummy's not *that* smart... ;)
