Tattle Tail Tuesday

Well do I ever have lots to tell you all... ;) Oh yes there is so much going on around here right now, including everyone being home sick and ever so willing to let my snuggle with them in bed! :) As you might have gathered this is the best possible news for a kitty like me... ;)

The other news is as long as everyone is over this 'stinkin cold' fast enough, little Setra will make her début as an adult at the Supreme on Saturday! However My Mummy still has to make up some show curtains for her cage and do a few other bits, apparently this will happen when her head stops 'feeling like it's about to 'splode big time' - I guess this is sensible as curtains with 'sploded Mummy head all over then would look mega yucky!

The next big news is that Grandpur is coming to stay with us for lots of months, all the way from Canada where my lovely Marie lives. In fact her Mom has met my Grandpur so I will be sure to give him lots of sniffing so I can be sure to pick up a hint of 'My Lovely' on him! :) The day after he arrives D'Boy has a big birthday - I guess this makes him old enough to enter the next show class or something... Anyway My Mummy, Daddy and Grandpur are taking him out for a very posh dinner that might - I am therefore living in hope of a duck filled kitty bag! ;)

Lastly there's to be a bit of a celebration on Dec 5th, when My Mummy marries My Daddy - which is not at all fair as I wanted to marry My Mummy! However, if she does have to marry anyone other than me, I guess My Daddy is ok... He does at least make room for me to snuggle up to My Mummy in bed every night! :) Just as long as he doesn't forget his place in household and try and assert any form of male dominance over me or Tigmut'hep things will be just fine... ;)

So as you can see we're very busy here for now, so do please excuse us all... For now I had better get back to snoopervising My Mummy making up bobbing lace flowers for her bouquet! :)

Thinking Thursday....

Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday again already! This last week seems to have whizzed by whilst my sister's belly has ballooned... My Mummy's now purrty sure that there'll be more than 4 kittens hidden in there this time round, I guess this is kinda good as My Mummy says I can pick the purrtiest Niece from amongst the girls Isis has this time round and she can stay with us forever and ever! :) You know there's even a chance that some of the kittens will have the same colour furs as I have, if not they'll all have the hidden ability to produce sorrel furs on their own babies when they are grown up. This means that my Niece will be able to produce purrty sorrel furs on her babies when she's old enough to be a Momma Cat, if My Mummy takes her to visit a stud who has this hidden ability too, or who has sorrel furs in the first place... So I've been thinking of all the cute little "mini me's" that might be born here sometime in the future! :)

My next line of thought was about My Marie getting a Blurpy sister very shortly. I'm mega excited about this as My Mummy has known My Marie's Mom for 3 or more years now and she's told me that she's purtty sure that this little Blurpy is going to be one of the best loved Blurpies ever (well as well as D'Boy (even if he's a mega big Blurpy now), Kimo & Sabo's little Blurpy and TT's little Blurpy that she watches from over the Bridge and left with Jake the woofie, Truder, Molly and Shadow to look after), all of you who know me will know I'm all for love! :)

Talking of love, I had lots of it last night with My Mummy and Daddy too! So much so in fact that I came back for seconds around 4am thinking I was onto a good thing, only to get some very mixed reactions as I burrowed my way down the bed and stuck my then cold nose onto Daddy's leg... I see he still requires a little fine tuning on the training front! ;) My Mummy however mumbled something sleepily and put her arm around me for a good long cuddle session that was only upset by the rotten alarm going off and Mummy realizing that she didn't hear D'Boy's alarm go off too. It seems she had to make sure he woke up and got to school on time, so I had to give up my snuggles rights and let her get on with the day. Though I got a little snuggle from D'Boy before he left for school to help make up for it! :)

Finally my thoughts turn to Calgary where Grammy has started just her Radiotherapy and where my beloved Marie lives. She is the only ladycat for me! :) Marie my furever Valentine... :) Oh and yesterday my half-sister (who had 6 kittens last week) Noodle's housemate Indie gave birth to 4 beautiful blue Aby kittens and today is My Mummy's Baby Brother's Birthday today and on Saturday it's Daddy's Mummy's Birthday, so this is a lovely time of year!

PS: I gather Marie's Mommy is in hospital being purrsuaded to give birth right now!!!!!

Terrific Tuesday - Happy Birthday Merlin!

Oh yes today is utterly terrific as our buddy Merlin turns 1 yr old today and finally becomes a Mancat! :) To celebrate this momentous occasion we're having a bit of a party here in the run - so as not to make a mess of My Mummy's newly decorated dinning room and kitchen! ;) There is loads of fresh 'nip and piles of yummy food for all and because it was raining earlier there's even a frog serenade going on to mark the occasion! :) Oh yes nothing is too good for our buddy Merlin or his bother Dragonheart...

We are however keeping plenty of soft food on hand as our friend Baby Mao has hurt his jaw and chipped a big tooth and seems to have lost a little one! :( While there will be a large bucket of KFC to keep HRH Yao-lin going before My Mummy manages to cook us all some juicy turkey! :) You can all test our yummy Reindeer Paté too, it's just the best! :)

Mancat Monday

Today I'm being a wonderful Mancat and am letting my housemate and fellow Mancat Tigmut'hep have the blog time as it's his 8th Birthday and he's all excited by his new toys and food! ;) I must say the food is great and it's nice of My Mummy to get enough for all of us to share in the treat... :) Though Tigmut'hep might try remembering the sharing rule when looking at his new toys! ;)

Thinking Thursday...

I've been thinking that the calenders and clocks must have it all wrong... You see I can't be about to turn 5 yrs old on Saturday it's just not possible, 'cause I'm still a kitten! Well that and that the kittens can't really be turning 8 weeks old then too, after all they're ickle babies! So they've got to have the time and date thing all mucked up... Yep, that's gotta be the answer! :)

The only good thing is that if they don't have it all wrong and I really am about to have my 5th Birthday on the weekend, I'll have been with My Mummy for half my life! :) It'll also mean that I'm about due some new toys and some very yummy dinner... ;) Oh yes it'll be chicken for me all the way! Maybe a side order of gravy to go with it too, but defiantly chicken and maybe one of My Mummy's famous chicken or turkey terrine's with added fresh catnip leaves...Mmmmmmm... Yer that'd be good! :)

I hear that I'm getting a proper party with people visiting and all, so maybe I'll go even better for prezzies than normal! ;) After all I've been such a good Uncle to the kittens and it's some of the kittens new parents coming to visit! :)

One last thing that's had me thinking since I watched it late last night was a bit of video on You Tube of a cat playing the piano rather well! It's such a shame we don't have a piano here as I'm sure I could do far better than they did if I put my mind to it, but I just don't think I have much chance with My Mummy's flute or D'boy's guitar... ;)

Finking Friday...

I'z fink it's been d'bestest KissMouse ever and as soon as I can get my 'sis away from d'nip pillow I'z sure we'll all be back to bloggin our paws off... For now I'z keepin' a close eye in her as she's been snorting dat nip for days and doesn't seem to be comin' up for air! ;) Anyway tomorrow she gets to celebrate her First Birthday, so I'z guess she's havin' a last minute kitten moment while she can! ;)

Mancat Monday...

Well the resting did my eye good and it's almost back to normal, though I'z not supposed to have the conehead off until it's 100% normal, so I'z can't scratch it and mess it up again... Though I'z seeing the stand in VET on Wednesday and iffen he decides it's ok I can have the conehead off, and iffen he doesn't then maybe I'z won't let him live! It's not fair I'z got to go see stand in VET rather than lovelylady VET, or Sally VET... They'z on holidays and I'z gotta see an icky man VET :(

Anyway today is d'boy's 11th birthday and it seems that Isis got presents along with the box that arrived for him from Canada! She gotted a lovely play box and some sisal string... She even gotted to practice her present opening skills in prepurration for KissMouse Day and her 1st Birthday shortly after! It seems that all this getting older has gone to Dad's head and now he's senile, 'cause he tried to go to work this morning wearing his slippers! ;) He made My Mummy laugh lots when he came back to get his shoes... :)

My Mummy cooked us all a yummy roasty dinner last night as a bit of a treat for d'boy, and tonight he's getting my fave chicken! I'z sure My Mummy will cook me a little bit of chicken too, cause she knows how much I'z like it... :) After all it is my 2nd Gotcha Day Anniversary tomorrow and I'z not seen any treats or presents for me yet! :( Maybe I'll get a surprise?! I'z do hope so... :)

Thank goodness it's working Thursday!

Oh boy what a relief that the internet is working again and the silly HayDSL line isn't playing silly whatnots any more, the nice people at our HighSP worked hard to get it all nice and fixed up for me yesterday! It seems they too don't like hearing a kitty cry over her need to talk to her furriends and show pretty pictures to her fave cute young Mancat! ;) So here I am! :)

It's hard to believe I'm almost 10.5 months old now! I feel rather grown up when I think about it even, though I do still have time to work on my rather extensive Birthday list! ;)

For a start, I really do need some new mousie's as they keep vanishing! Mummy says it has something to do with my putting them under furniture, but I think someone's eating 'em... I also think I could do with a nice new blankie for my bed, but can't decide on what colour I'd like bestest. I mean I know some colours look nicer against my furs than others, but it's very difficult to work out what's the very bestest one for me... Maybe I should look into getting some sort of fashion consultation and get my colours done, cause I'm not sure I could cope if the new blankie didn't compliment my furs in the bestest possible way! ;)

It's hard being a refined girlycat and learn all these things, it makes my little head spin at times - or maybe that's just the 'nip fumes coming off of Tigmut'hep?! ;)

Special Sunday Birthday Snuggles...

Today Mummy gets a little more like one of those ancient Greeks we were told about the other day, so we've all been snuggling her lots before she goes all strange in the head... ;)

Warning New Camera!

Dear goodness, what am I to do?! It seems Dad's gone and messed with my life and bought Mummy a nice new camera for her Birthday (and that's not even here for another few weeks, I know 'cause I'm saving up some really good fur to shed on her that day!). The fool has not only bought it for her early, but also let her have it already! I mean life was bad enough with the old camera getting pointed in my face, but now there's another one... :s So I've been showing Mummy my disapproval by hiding my head when she gets the new camera out! ;)

The trouble is Isis is letting the side down by posing for Mummy! She's been finding all sorts of cute new ways to pose for the camera and is even starting to act like some sort of supermodel diva! :( Then again all this time posing for the camera does mean it's time she's not spending with her tongue down one of my ears cleaning it out! ;)

Dad's old...

Today is my Dad's birthday and Mummy says we've all got to be nice to him all day long! But Mummy we want Dad to finish off our sunhouse so we can go out and play in it... What does he need with a nice quiet evening, a bottle of wine and a nice juicy steak?! We can eat that steak just as well as Dad and I know we'd appreciate it more... ;) Well maybe Mummy'll save us a little bit if we sit nice and look all cute and sweet?! :) Now the only problem there'll be getting Isis to join in the sweet, starving kitty look and not just trying to climb into Mummy's lap and help herself... Now if I play with her all day and make her nice and tired and then get Tigmut'hep to sit on her at dinner time we'll stand a chance! ;)
