Thinking Thursday...

This week I've been thinking that it's getting far more entertaining to watch the kittens all day... Oh yes they are starting to play with toys and do interesting things! They still smell kind of nice too, so I give them all a good sniffing over most days, I've even ventured so far as to give one of the little girls a wash behind her ears! ;) I guess it won't be long before they're all running round the house with the rest of us, playing games like "Herd of Thundering Elephants" - I mean it's important that these little ones get a properly rounded education. I guess that means having Miss Peach teach them all good manners, so they'll be welcome at tea parties, while making sure they read Daisy's fashion advice and take lessons from Isis in modelling and investigating stuff, just in case they'd like to have a go at investigative reporting later in life! I expect I should show them how badly some cats suffer too (Yau-lin for example), so that they appreciate all the love they get and learn to train their humans well!

All this thinking has me exhausted, I think I had better go for a nap now! ;)

Terrific Tuesday - Happy Birthday Merlin!

Oh yes today is utterly terrific as our buddy Merlin turns 1 yr old today and finally becomes a Mancat! :) To celebrate this momentous occasion we're having a bit of a party here in the run - so as not to make a mess of My Mummy's newly decorated dinning room and kitchen! ;) There is loads of fresh 'nip and piles of yummy food for all and because it was raining earlier there's even a frog serenade going on to mark the occasion! :) Oh yes nothing is too good for our buddy Merlin or his bother Dragonheart...

We are however keeping plenty of soft food on hand as our friend Baby Mao has hurt his jaw and chipped a big tooth and seems to have lost a little one! :( While there will be a large bucket of KFC to keep HRH Yao-lin going before My Mummy manages to cook us all some juicy turkey! :) You can all test our yummy Reindeer Paté too, it's just the best! :)

Two Aby's Tuesday...

We've had a nice few days with Dad home with My Mummy, he's just got a few days to work this week and then he's off again for over a week! :) Heck even Tigmut'hep is starting to cheer up as it's only one front paw and one back paw's claws until his boy comes home! ;) In fact he's been in such a good mood since yesterday morning when he found out it was just two paws worth of claws until he got his boy back that he joined in our game of "Herd of Thundering Elephants", what's even more impressive was his go at "Running as if you had a Firecracker up your Bottom", you know the run with your tail high in the air where your bottom almost overtakes your front and you kind of run sideways as well as forwards - well Isis and I are pretty much experts at this when the mood takes us, but we'd never seen Tigmut'hep attempt it. He's very good at it for a beginner, I must say! ;)
It was also a nice surprise to see that both Isis and myself had been given this lovely award by TT's family. Sorry we've not been around much, and for that matter won't be for another week or two. We do try and read our friends Blogs each day, but when you're busy snoopervising painting and decorating it's not all that easy... Plus as some of you know Isis will be meeting Yao-lin's slave this Saturday to see if his tales of suffering are really true. If they are I think the combined forces of the BritBlog Kitties should mount a rescue operation, to save him from the extreem levels of suffering he has to face on a daily basis! We do so worry about him, though seeing as Tigmut'hep is at least in spirit a meezer, we do occasionally think he might be exagerating a little! ;) Anyway Isis will perform a through investigation of the situation in just a few days time and make sure that if his slave is really as unfit for service as he says that the approperate authorities cart her off... ;)

So you see we are all very busy around here and about to do a big service for worried Kitty Bloggers everywhere! Once that's dealt with we'll be back to snoopervising the decoration of two of our favourite rooms in the house, yes the kitchen and the dinning room - those vital rooms where food is prepared and served. So paws crossed that the weather is good as our litter boxes will have to go out into the cat run during much of the time the renovations are going on and I do so hate icky wet fur and rain!

Oh well back off to My Mummy's bed for cuddle with those I love most. Having just heard of the loss of sweet baby Violette I feel a little bit of family together time is needed. Never take those you love for granted, shower them in fur every day, so they always know that they are loved deeply...

Mancat Monday

That's it I want a refund! What sort of weekend is it when your Mummy gets out of bed before 6am?! What's an Ice Hockey tournament anyway? It doesn't sound edible for a start, so why get up that early to catch it? At least My Mummy's spent the weekend at home with us, even if Dad and D'boy have been out all day... But I treasure my 3-4 hrs a morning snuggling in bed with My Mummy and I get told off if I start my snuggling at 1 or 2 in the morning for some reason! :( So being a really good cat (and not much liking my beauty sleep being disturbed), I've had to make do with an afternoon snuggle... But I'm telling you it's not the same and just not good enough! Mancat can't survive on a fuss mid afternoon I tell you, well this mancat can't! I need at least 3 hrs a morning of snuggling on the weekend and at least 1 hr during the week, though I do try and get more then too! ;)

So Mancat Monday has found me feeling deprived and neglected and in serious need of a snuggle... At this rate I'll be forced to cuddle up to Tigmut'hep and you know that's a last resort and the rather desperate act of an under loved mancat, don't you Mummy!

Yes I know you cooked me sirloin steak last night, but that doesn't make up for the hours of serious deprivation I have suffered, even if Yao-lin would have just loved it and is probably now a meezerly shade of green with envy, it doesn't cut it with me... Nope I want snuggles now and if you don't want to lay down and let me cover you in my lovely furs, I shall pack myself off to the Isle of Wight with D'boy in a few weeks time and see if I can get some there! :P

Finking Friday...

Well it's been a good week for finking round here! What with making a Valentines for My Marie and hearing about the freezing cold weather they're having in Calgary at this moment - well as you might be able to guess, I'z been thinking a lot about My Marie and snuggling in warm places! ;)

My Grandpur in Calgary finally gotted his 80th Birthday present, and there'd been me finking that the postlady must have eaten it or losted it... :( But finally it arrived and he loved what we gotted him! :) He's hadded a rotten, bad, yucky, stinking cold from the deepest depths of somewhere nasty all over KissMouse and New Years, so My Mummy was very glad to hear he's starting to improve... She's been worrying herself half daft! Dad says that's easy for her to do for some reason I can't quite make out, but he always giggles when he says it so I fink he's being naughty! ;)

It's been a little cold here for the past few nights, so I finked it was better to snuggle under the blankets with My Mummy and Dad! Oh boy was I right, it was so toasty and warm there - which of course made me fink more about My Marie freezing her beautiful little paws off in Canada... For some reason when I finked about her as I slept, I'z got even warmer! By morning My Mummy said I was like a little red hot inferno - Oh yes a red hot inferno of love! ;)

The other thing I'z gotta fink about and be very thankful for is my good friends at Chat Aux Sphynx, Dragonheart and his cute little brother Merlin gave me this lovely award! :)

I'd like to take this opportunity to pass it on to the prettiest little white kitty ever created, My Marie! :) In addition to My Marie, I'd like to pass it along to that evil genius, the only cat I know with his very own Island - HRH Yao-Lin. Real Name: Champion Myleenus Sir Lynxalot

How I got my Real Name: I got the Myleenus part of my name, because of the people who bred me, the Champion bit I earned at cat shows, lastly the Sir Lynxalot bit is to reflect my father's name LordoftheLynx. The Lynx part of our name is due to the fact that as a family we have excellent looking ear tufts! This is why my 'sis is really called Ladylynx - her ear tufts are a whole 1/4" long! :)

Nicknames I like: Ramses, Ramy, Ramy-boy, Puddin', Caramel Puddin', Lover Boy! :)

Nicknames I don't like: Wiffy Bum, Ramy Bum - the indignity of it all! :(

New Meme!

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

1. I'z would find a way of getting My Marie to come over here for a snuggle more often! Maybe I'z could get one of those Star Trek transporter badges for her collar, so I'z could beam her over when ever I'z got the urge to snuggle! :) Or Maybe I'z could get her cloned and leave d'clone with her Mommy... ;)

2. I'z would get my paws on lots of green papers and buy My Mummy a bigger house and get a bigger bed for her and Dad! I'z need more room to snuggle with My Mummy you'z see and I'd also learn how to play with d'alarm clock so I'z could have longer bed snuggles too! :) Iffen I'z just gotted her a bigger bed there wouldn't be any room left to move in their current bedroom...

3. I'z would start up a major farm business growing d'nip and raising chickens. Then I'z would make dem into chicken 'n 'nip kittyfood with lotsa yummy gravy... All d' leftover feathers could be used to make feather wand toys, maybe I'z could get a top scientist to make d'feathers naturally 'nip scented too... :)

Sweet Treat Tuesday!

Wow I've got an award from my own, special Sweet Marie... She's such a wonderful girlfurriend, beautiful, talented, sweet natured, generous, kind, considerate, playful, brave and wonderful! :) Plus as Skeezix would put it "she gives me urges!" ;)

In recognition of this and because he's made me reconsider squirming and complaining about Isis cleaning between my back toes, I've got to nominate Skeezix and Mao - partly so Mao can get rid of the bad taste in his mouth...! ;) Plus I've just got to nominate HRH Yao-Lin as a little extra sugar might help him cope with his lack of real food... ;)

Other than that I've got to thank you all for putting up with Tigmut'hep hijacking my Blog yesterday... Honestly he's a big bully and likes nothing better than to throw his not inconsiderable weight around, just 'cause he's bigger and older than either Isis or me doesn't mean we should have to take his "bopping" us over the head and calling us "Aby sillyuns!" It's just not dignified... Plus how can you take anything seriously when you know they mancat sleeps with teddy bears!? ;)
