Mancat Monday Meme - Fridge Meme

It seems that Isis and I have been tagged by our wonderful friend Yao-Lin from his special island home for the Fridge Meme!

Here are the rules:

A fun and simple MEME for the hot summer. Show us a photo of the front of your Cold Box (Fridge) and tell us about at least one thing on it and one thing you keep inside of it! Tag your friends and remember to stay COOL!

Firstly this is the Fridge, apparently it is the place to put "everything that hasn't for a home or that Mummy needs to be reminded off" Sadly neither Isis nor myself found a message reading "Feed the Cats!" on it, though luckily for us she seems to remember that bit anyway... ;)

Next comes the freezer where D'Boy and Dad work out what's "Cool and what's Not!" It seems all things Dr. Who are pretty darn cool! ;)


This is the "Bunny Boiler" - I'm not sure what My Mummy keeps giggling about when she talks about it, even Dad and D'boy laugh - I guess it's some sort of "bean joke". Anyway if things aren't cool enough for the "Cool Wall" on the freezer, or if there's a lack of room on it, they come here. That's D'Boy's artwork with added dino magnets for fun...

This is My Mummy's special note pad for leaving Dad messages, I think the message at the top is designed to remind him not to argue but just do what My Mummy tells him to do! ;)

This is my favourite saying on the Fridge, it's so true. Isis likes this one best too, but is still looking for one that tells her that putting the bitey on Mummy's toes will get her all she wants! ;) I gather My Mummy would disagree with Isis view on this...


Because he insisted I'm also adding Tigmut'hep's favourite saying on the fridge... Sadly he thinks because the photo on it is of a black cat who looks quite a lot like him it means we should all worship him! This of cause makes Isis slightly interesting ideas on getting her own way seem compleatly sane in comparison! ;)

Lastly this is a rather sweet photo of me on the fridge, please note that Tigmut'hep is bossing me around in it as usual... He's always got to have the final word it seems! ;)

Oh and as you all know our fridge is full of yummy catnip jelly and turkey chunks in jelly too that Mummy made us late last week! Sadly we have nearly eaten all the turkey chunks in jelly, but we have plenty of 'nip jelly still left to have as a cool lunchtime snack or to add to our meals to make sure that Tigmut'hep take on enough fluid in the hotter weather - the silly boy doesn't seem to like drinking much and sometimes makes himself unwell because of it... Luckily we all get to eat the 'nip jelly though! :)

Real Name: Champion Myleenus Sir Lynxalot

How I got my Real Name: I got the Myleenus part of my name, because of the people who bred me, the Champion bit I earned at cat shows, lastly the Sir Lynxalot bit is to reflect my father's name LordoftheLynx. The Lynx part of our name is due to the fact that as a family we have excellent looking ear tufts! This is why my 'sis is really called Ladylynx - her ear tufts are a whole 1/4" long! :)

Nicknames I like: Ramses, Ramy, Ramy-boy, Puddin', Caramel Puddin', Lover Boy! :)

Nicknames I don't like: Wiffy Bum, Ramy Bum - the indignity of it all! :(

Mancat Monday Meme...

Well I'z been tagged by two lovely grey kitties called Gandolf and Grayson, but it's for a meme I'z already done just the other day... But since they'z also tagged my sister Isis and she's not done it as yet I'z just going to give her a helping paw with her go at this meme that was created by d'cats at http://www.petspics.blogspot.com/.

I'z hadded a great weekend with lots of snuggles, including some from that grump I'z live with, Tigmut'hep - it seems he'z loves d'kitty bed so much that he's willing to snuggle with me of an evening to get some kitty bed time! ;) Maybe he's not quite such a big grump as I'z thought?! Naaa... It's just that d'kitty bed is so soft and warm that it's tempting lure is too much for even Mr. Grumpypus! ;)

Now I'z fink it's time for a nice mancatly nap... :)

We'z all deeply saddened by d'passing of our friend Caesar... I'z finked he was a wonderful mancat, with great dignity and lotsa class. I'z just hope that I'z can one day be as dignified and mancatly as he was in everything he did... He will no doubt be greatly missed by his sister Prinnie as well as his loving family and I'z would appreciate all you kitties dropping by and letting them know that you'z finking of them at this time... Though we'z cannot make his passing any easier for them, we'z can at least let them know he was widely loved and respected here... My purrs are going out to Prinnie as I'z know all too well what the love of a sibling is like, even if Isis is only my half-sister!

New Meme!

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

1. I'z would find a way of getting My Marie to come over here for a snuggle more often! Maybe I'z could get one of those Star Trek transporter badges for her collar, so I'z could beam her over when ever I'z got the urge to snuggle! :) Or Maybe I'z could get her cloned and leave d'clone with her Mommy... ;)

2. I'z would get my paws on lots of green papers and buy My Mummy a bigger house and get a bigger bed for her and Dad! I'z need more room to snuggle with My Mummy you'z see and I'd also learn how to play with d'alarm clock so I'z could have longer bed snuggles too! :) Iffen I'z just gotted her a bigger bed there wouldn't be any room left to move in their current bedroom...

3. I'z would start up a major farm business growing d'nip and raising chickens. Then I'z would make dem into chicken 'n 'nip kittyfood with lotsa yummy gravy... All d' leftover feathers could be used to make feather wand toys, maybe I'z could get a top scientist to make d'feathers naturally 'nip scented too... :)

Monday Meme for Miss Peach

I was nominated by My lovely Marie to do the Cherish meme, which Adan created to bring the love of all da kitty bloggers to the gentle Miss Peach! As Adan said: "She always makes us know what love is!" Well said, Adan!

So here are the rules of the Cherish meme:

1. tell us what is the most sweetest warm thing you will do to your mommy (what is the sweetest thing that your kitty will do to you)

2. And, hug your mommy, tightly... (and, hug your kitty....tightly...)

Ramses
I tend to do lots of loving things for my Mummy, from sitting behind her head on the back of the sofa of an evening sniffing her long red furs and sighing contentedly and I snuggle in, to snuggling up between Mummy & Dad at night in bed so that I get and give a two sided fussing last thing at night and first thing in the morning as well! Though I guess my occasionally giving Mummy a bed time kiss on the forehead is what she finds sweetest... I like to wait until she's almost asleep and walk up onto her pillow between her and Dad and place a feather soft kitty kiss on her head, near her left temple. It makes her smile as she drifts off to sleep and makes me feel all warm inside too and I tend to fall asleep in her arms after that! Having a Mummy is wonderful and it'll be my 2 yr Gotcha Day Anniversary a little less than a month now. After spending nearly 2 1/2 years without a Mummy to snuggle with and love I know how special My Mummy is and I never take her for granted... :)

Isis
Since I'm still quite a playful kitten at heart, my greatest show of affection towards Mummy is to sleep on her toes all night and resist the urge to put the bitey on them! I'm pretty dedicated to warming Mummy's toes and they're the only toes I know not to but the bitey on - after all you doesn't bitey the toes that feed! ;) Though I'm starting to also join in the late night and early morning lovefest on Mummy & Dad's bed with Ramses. Mostly I climb up Mummy and sit on her chest and let her fuss me, though sometimes I just gaze at her and purr. Another way I show Mummy how much I love her is by posing for pretty photos and snuggling with my big brother Ramses in her office most afternoons! As soon as Mummy gets her camera out and points it at me I start purring, I really loves havin' my photo taken and I know Mummy loves takin' my photo too! :)

Tigmut'hep
I show my love by spending lots of time with the boy, playing with Lego and toy cars as well as watching him playing video games or just snuggling next to him while he watches TV or a DVD. I also eat any food he drops and snuggle with his teddy bears when he's at school so they don't get lonely! I also like to show him that I support his love of Ice Hockey, by nesting in his kit bag if he leaves it open though for some reason everyone turns their nose up at me after I do that and says I smell bad... I show Mummy I love her by only occasionally putting the bitey on her leg when she's late with my next meal and also by sticking my head down her shoes when she takes them off! I mean only someone who *really loved* her would do a thing like that! ;) Finally I have a few minutes love either last thing at night or first thing in the morning with Mummy in bed, where I sit on her chest and purr like mad as she gives me a really good fussing and just to prove my love I get off her chest before she turns blue! ;) Apparently I'm no light weight! :) Oh and my other way of showing my love to all the family is by my not "bopping" my annoying Aby Housemates all the time and even bringing myself to let them snuggle with me on odd occasions...

Mummy
I show them all I love them, by letting them have individual time with me and treating them each in their own special way. Ramses is my lover boy, Isis is my playful, sweet, little show off and Tigmut'hep is my loveable old grump! ;) He likes everything his own way and is quite aloof most of the time, but if I'm unwell he's right by my side, the same goes if he's unwell. To be honest all the cats cling to me if I'm having a bad day and Ramses even got cross at my hubby when he bought me home from hospital last December following knee surgery as he thought for a bit he's hurt me! I wound up having to comfort Ramses for quite a bit before he's accept the fact that I hadn't been hurt by anyone! ;)

For this special meme, like My Marie we'd happily nominate anycat and everycat really, so that they can all show their love to Miss Peach, but in particular we'd like to nominate:

Misty

Nana's dog Misty may be getting on in years now, but it doesn't stop her wanting to clean every cat she sees and take it home to be her puppy. Now I'm not saying that Misty's a silly girl, cause that really doesn't cover the extent of her mania for cats... We here keep clear of her unless we really feel like a good long bath in dog drool! Some of her many other cat-like traits include a love of sleeping on sofas, chairs or anywhere off the ground, being picky with her food, refusing to step foot outside the house in the rain and trying to sit on Nana's lap of an evening (this is really something to see as Nana gets lost under all that dog!) ;) Oh and Misty is also more concerned with the way she looks than what is going on around her, you've no hope of getting her attention if she's got so much as a single hair out of place!

Compared to Misty us cats are easy going, highly obedient and will eat pretty much anything you put in front of us! We must thank Misty for giving us such a wonderful reputation by comparison... :)
