I mean does she really think I can't look after myself, or is it that she likes to torment and torture me?! Honestly have you ever had to try and keep still while someone is licking your back foot you'll know what I mean?! Especially when she gets between the pads, it's enough to make you squeal and squerm!
Then there's the washing of my face and the cleaning out of my ears, does it really take that long to get one ear clean?! Trying to keep still while her hot raspy tongue pokes around inside an ear is utter torment and should be saved as a form of discipline for naughty kittens! ;) It seems I'm just a convenient target for her tongue and general grooming obsession until she has kittens of her own. The only trouble is are they going to be the first litter of Abyssinians that could pass for Sphinx cats?! ;)

Isis sounds like a very good little sister. I wish I had a cat to help groom my ears. Pixie is no help. So, I get the Q-tip grooming instead.
Silky gets carried away when she's grooming me and she BITES my ears - hard! So I can empathize ...
Um, sweetheart...I like to groom everyone! Would you like me to groom you? ;)

Good cleaning.
oooh, does thats mean your sister is gonna be a momma someday? Watch outs when thats happen...she stop being so happy to groom you and might even claws you instead! We have seen how weirdy some momma kittys get when they is protectings their little ones.

our sister doesn't clean us, she just tells us we stink ~Merlin and Ko Ko of the Fluffy Tribe
Oh yes you can groom me all you like my Sweet Marie, just please don't spend 5 mins on each ear, it's more than I can cope with! ;)
As for Isis, she'll be going to see a friend of mine when she's old enough to have kittens. He's a lovely Stud tomcat and an Imperial Grand Champion like her Mother is. Since I've already had two litters of kittens when I was a Stud cat myself I'm used to stroppy female cats... But I think I should probebly do the right thing and warn Tigmut'hep that my 'sis will probably box his ears good and proper if he goes near the kittens! Than again maybe I'll let him find out for himself... ;)
Anyway back to the sunshine and climbing in the run for this cat... :)
Oh, I don't think they've be able to pass for Sphynx. ;) Abbysinians are all very beautiful, but you don't look anything like us Sphynx! My mom always wanted an Abbysinian, but since my dad is allergic to cats, but not to Sphynx, they have me!
I can't wait until I get a little brother or sister and we can groom each other. :)
You are lucky to have a little sister to help keep you looking so handsome. You are definitely a fine looking pair. FAZ
It's funny my Dad was allergic to cats before Mummy bought Tigmut'hep home. He thought it was because Tigs has very slick fur not unlike that of many dogs and Dad's never had a problem with dogs. Then Mummy kept telling him about how lovely Abyssinians are and in the end he decided to have a look at one for himself and that's how I came to live here! :) The great thing is Dad doesn't react to me or Isis either, but we have a cat we like to call Fattipuss who lives locally and visits the nextdoor neighbours kids to play and if he's around Dad reacts to Fattipuss just the way he's always done to other cats. Guess that makes us nearly as special as a Sphynx and if Isis doesn't cut back on her grooming, I'll have no fur left and will even look a bit like one! ;) But mostly I love her grooming me as she gets to those places even my tongue can't get to! ;)
